3. Determination if project based engagement or ongoing engagement is most appropriate and customized pricing is determined.

I look to determine if your company is ready to sustain a fractional CFO resource. Companies we have worked with have graduated beyond requiring a fractional CFO resource to requiring a full-time resource and we transition out in those cases as smoothly as possible.
